Being plugged into shore power does not always mean the battery should be actively charging. The battery may already be full, charging may be limited by the system, or the incoming supply may not be available.
Safe first checks
- Note whether the system indicates that AC input is present.
- Read and record any charger or battery warning exactly as it appears.
- Check the battery's reported state of charge and temperature, if available.
- Ask the campsite or supply operator whether power is available at your connection.
- Consult the equipment instructions for the meaning of its current status.
Only use normal user controls described in the manual. Do not remove covers, touch electrical connections or repeatedly reset a protective device that trips. If you notice heat damage, a burning smell or damaged equipment, stop using the affected equipment and seek qualified help.
Information that helps an installer
Record whether the issue occurs on one supply or several, when it started and whether anything changed recently. Include the charger and battery models and a photograph of any message on the display.
The technical documents may explain the status you are seeing. If the cause remains unclear, contact the team with your observations.
